The Gipo Vocational Technical Institute was established in 2016 to equip young people, ages 18 - 35, to possess marketable vocational skills that will serve as a source of income generation. The school also provides training and technical support to local farmers and women's groups in surrounding villages. Vocational training is offered in: Agriculture Auto Mechanics Construction Domestic Science Electricity and Plumbing.
Construction of this Institute continues adding dormitories and eventually solar power. This will allow students to live on campus saving miles of commuting and allow the school to have electrical power to support better education and services. Solar power will energize the whole region.
